Adding Team Members

Modified on Wed, 23 Oct at 3:31 PM

To add a Team Member to your LifeCourseOnline account, follow these steps outlined below once you are logged in.

In your left-hand navigation bar, select "Supporters".

Once inside the Supporters tab, select "List Supporters" in the upper right hand corner:

From there, you will then select "Add Team Member" in the same spot:

Once you have selected "Add Team Member" you will be prompted to enter in their details:

You will start by adding their First and Last name.

Next, you'll be asked for your relationship to the individual/how they know you. Answers to this can be as specific or as

general as you'd like:

After you've entered your Relationship, you'll be asked what type of support they provide. Natural means that they are a friend, family member, neighbour - they are not a paid support. Paid means that they are a professional or trained to provide you with assistance and supports (ie: Case Manager, Doctor, Support Worker).

You can then optionally add a picture/image of the person if you have one! No pressure to add one right away, this can always be added or updated later.

If you wish to give the person access to your LifeCourseOnline account, select the option "Grant User Access to your LifeCourseOnline Profile" as shown above. Once you've selected this option you will then be asked to pick their permission level. For more information on permissions, check out our article here.

Once a permission level is selected, you can then enter an email. Please note an invite to join LifeCourseOnline will be sent to the email you have selected here. If you selected the person you are inviting at the "User" permission level, be sure to update their permission levels. Just a reminder that phone numbers are optional, and even if you provide one, LifeCourseOnline will never call you:

Lastly, don't forget to hit the "SAVE & CONTINUE" button. Selecting this button will invite the team member.

If you need to make edits or delete team members, check out: Viewing, Editing or Removing Supporters.

Congratulations, you've expanded your team!
